Národní zemědělské muzeum Praha ve spolupráci se státním podnikem Lesy ČR otevřelo v dubnu 2011, v rámci Mezinárodního roku lesů vyhlášeného OSN, zatím svůj historicky nejrozsáhlejší výstavní projekt v prostorách svého muzea v Praze na Letné. Jeho základní částí je výstava „Co pamatuje strom a co lidé zapomněli ?“, která je situována do velkého sálu v prvním patře muzea. Návštěvník prochází kmenem stotřicetiletého smrku, v němž se může v decenálních sekvencích pohybovat na časové ose a seznamovat s historií vybraných…
